INSTRUCTIONS FOR REACHING 34 REGENT STREET, NOTTINGHAM.

1.          Motorway M 1

Come off at Junction 25. — take the A52 eastward toward Nottingham, as far as the Ring Road, crossing it to continue along the A6200 to Nottingham. 

Keep straight on - passing University Hospital, which is on your right -  then you cross a set of traffic lights at a large intersection, with the Savoy Cinema, also on your right, just after the lights.

Continue to the top of the hill. Take right hand lane at traffic lights (note Police Station on the right). 
You need to follow the right hand lane and then proceed downhill, veering right at the bottom, to reach the next roundabout. Take the third exit from the roundabout and go up the hill, passing the Catholic cathedral on your left. At the top of the hill, turn left into the Ropewalk

Third road on the left off the Ropewalk is Regent Street.

We are just after the Regent St/Ropewalk junction, on the left — limited car parking on forecourt. Otherwise, there is an NCP at the other (south) end of Regent St (300m), or pay-and-display parking on Regent St.

2.       From South, over Trent Bridge

Cross the bridge and take London Road to large roundabout (1 mile) — turn left — drive between  the back of Broad Marsh Shopping Centre and Bus Station on your right and the County Court on your left.

Follow M1. North sign

Under foot bridge — you are on Maid Marian Way.
Continue through several sets of traffic lights.

Just before next island — immediately after a casino on your left —turn left up Park Row.
Regent Street is second right.

We are at the top of Regent Street, just before the Regent St/Ropewalk junction on the right — limited car parking on forecourt. If not, there is an NCP at the bottom end of Regent Street, or pay-and-display parking on Regent St. and adjacent streets.

3.       From North along Mansfield Road, (A60)
            NB The one way system in Nottingham has just changed (August 2005).

Continue straight to Nottingham city centre on the A60 until you come to the Victoria Shopping Centre Clock on your left.

Turn right onto Shakespeare Street  Then take the first left onto North Church St, right onto Burton Street and left again, past the Royal Concert Hall (on your right).

Turn right along Parliament St. to the roundabout and take the A52 towards Derby (2nd exit - get in the left lane): you will see the cathedral ahead on your left.
Just before the cathedral, turn left toward the Playhouse theatre. Go round the island (fenced off grass and trees); one way round to right and take second exit into Oxford St. Regent St. is then first right
