I have been in active Consultant orthopaedic practice for over 30 years, as well as pursuing a busy academic career. My special fields of interest have been skeletal injury in both adults and children, with an emphasis on post-trauma reconstruction.

I have published in English and French over 90 book chapters, invited contributions and peer-reviewed papers in these fields.
I have lectured extensively at Universities and CME-accredited courses throughout the world.
I have been an invited visiting Professor to the Universities of Cairo, Gothenburg, Isfahan, Kentucky, Kuala Lumpur, London, Louisiana, Mississippi, S.Florida, Shiraz, Singapore, Texas and Wellington.
I have examined at a post-graduate level at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, University of Singapore, Cairo University and University of Rotterdam.

I have been engaged in specialist medico-legal work  for over 30 years. 
I am a founder member of the Expert Witness Institute.
I no longer accept new instructions after 29th September 2007, but shall service legacy instructions thereafter, for up to two years. .
